Float Trip-July 31-Aug 1, 2010
The UC Float Trip is a wonderful time to get together with our UC Family and just float the Illinois River down on Arrowhead Resorts in Talequah, OK. This is such a great chance for new, current, and even alumni to catch up with each other after a summer apart. We usually hit the water slide, cook over the campfire, and sing until we fall asleep. One group will be leaving from the UC in a van around 4pm on Saturday, July 31st. Please let us know ASAP if you are riding down with us. Another group will be leaving earlier in a van around 1pm. This group will attend Keith and Michelle's wedding in Edmond and then leave from there. Some of you could likely get in with us in Edmond around 4pm. Please let us know ahead of time. Both vans will return together after the Float Trip. Below is the schedule and map to Arrowhead. You need to bring the following: tent (if you have one), Sleeping Bag, $35 for floating and meals, Sunscreeen, Bugspray, Towel, snacks and drinks if you want. Dinnner on Sat, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday will be provided by the UC, but you are encouraged to bring your own as well. Here is a link with the map and directions, Arrowhead Resort Map.
