INNER-CITY HOUSTON

          Every Spring Break the UC takes a group of students to serve with the Impact Church of Christ in Downtown Houston. This amazing church allows us the unique opportunity to work with their childrens, homeless, and hispanic outreach ministries. We serve them by teaching Bible Class, doing a VBS, picking up kids on bus routes, working in the Distribution Center, painting, and just being willing to go where they send us. Every year this trip draws us closer to God and each other by yanking us out of our comfort zone and teaching us that Jesus is for everyone. In the past we have gone to New Orleans, Mexico, and Boulder. We are always open to new trips as the opportunities present themselves.
